Homes with a bit more thought behind them.
Homeward Living creates Specialist Disability Accommodation for people who need a home that understands access, support, privacy and daily life.
That means more than meeting a design standard. It means thinking about how a person moves through the front door, where they can enjoy quiet time, how support can be nearby, and whether the kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and shared spaces actually work for real routines.
Because a home is not just where the floorplan ends. It is where ordinary life happens.
We create SDA that feels considered, not clinical.
Homeward Living is a registered NDIS provider and Specialist Disability Accommodation provider. We develop, own and manage SDA homes designed for people with high support needs, including homes suitable for High Physical Support, Fully Accessible and Improved Liveability requirements where applicable.
Our role is to provide the home. Daily support and Supported Independent Living, often called SIL, may be delivered by a separate support provider. Keeping those roles clear helps residents, families and support teams understand who does what, and how the home and support arrangements can work together.
Homes that are residential
Accessibility should feel like part of the home, not something added at the end because someone remembered there was a checklist.
Long-term suitability
We think carefully about whether a home, household and support arrangement are likely to work well together.
Privacy and support
Support can be nearby without making the home feel like it belongs to everyone except the person living there.
Practical details
Good design shows up in the everyday things: movement, comfort, storage, privacy, light, acoustics, support access and spaces people actually want to use.
Our approach
We believe good SDA should be practical, warm and easy to understand.
The design should support access without making the home feel anything other than what it’s supposed to be. A home.
Shared areas should feel comfortable, private spaces should give residents room to retreat, rest and make the space their own.
We look closely at the details that shape daily life: natural light, circulation space, storage, bathrooms, support proximity, outdoor access, household flow and the balance between privacy and connection.
Some of those details sound small. They rarely feel small when you live with them every day.
A home should work for the person living in it.
That idea guides how we design, manage and talk about SDA.
We are here for homes that feel settled, practical and personal. Homes where accessibility is built into the design, support is considered carefully, and residents are treated as people first.
Simple idea. Big difference.
