For people looking for a home

A home that works for real life.

Looking for Specialist Disability Accommodation can feel like there is a lot to sort through.

The funding. The features. The location. The support arrangements. The acronyms quietly multiplying in the corner.

At Homeward, we try to make things clearer. We create thoughtfully designed SDA homes that support comfort, privacy, independence and everyday routines.

The goal is simple: a home that works well and feels good to live in.

Imagine that.

You might already know exactly what you are looking for.

You might still be working out what your SDA funding means, what design category applies, or whether shared living would suit you.

Either way, that is completely fine.

You can ask us questions before you have every answer. Our team can talk through the home, the features, the location and whether it may be a suitable fit for your needs and routine.

Designed around everyday routines

We're a team of passionate thinkers and doers, dedicated to building with purpose and clarity. Collaboration and curiosity drive everything we do. Our process is simple, thoughtful, and designed with your experience in mind. We believe great results come from clear steps, open collaboration, and a shared sense of purpose.

Your own space, with shared areas nearby

Shared living does not mean everything has to feel shared.

Homeward homes are designed to balance privacy and connection. Private spaces give residents room to relax, settle in and enjoy their own routine. Shared living areas are there for meals, conversation, visitors or time with housemates when that feels right.

A home should give you options. Quiet when you want quiet. Company when you want company. No forced “communal vibes” at 7am unless that is genuinely your thing.

Support close by, without taking over the home

Homeward properties include a dedicated Onsite Overnight Assistance space. This means overnight support can be close by when needed, while still helping the home feel residential and private.

SDA is the home itself. Daily support, including Supported Independent Living, is usually provided separately by a support provider.

We can help explain how those roles work together, because “housing and support arrangements” should not require a whiteboard and three coffees to understand.

Finding the right fit matters

A vacancy is not the same as a good fit.

When someone is exploring a Homeward home, we take time to understand practical things like access needs, support needs, daily routines, communication preferences, location, shared living compatibility and what would help the home feel comfortable.

This helps everyone make a more informed decision before moving forward.

Questions you can ask us

You are welcome to ask things like:

Finding the right fit

  • What SDA category is this
    home designed for?

  • How do you decide whether
the home may be a good fit?

  • Who provides daily support?

Understanding the home

  • What private space would I have?

  • What areas are shared?

  • Is there Onsite Overnight Assistance?

What happens next?

  • Can I visit the property?

  • What happens after I enquire

  • What is nearby?

No question is too basic. SDA has enough moving parts already. We are not here to add fog.
